Latha iis an accomplished student and a class leader. She served as president of the very active Stuart Interact Club, as well as president of Amnesty International. Latha and her family came here from India when she was three.  Her father works two jobs to help the family make ends meet, and although her parents have been extremely supportive of Latha’s educational goals, there is little in the budget for college costs. This scholarship will assist Latha at Virginia Tech in the fall.
